Ashampoo WinOptimizer 5.04

10 years of experience at the professional level is what Ashampoo has to offer in what is a very important topic for daily PC use, namely, Windows optimization. This extensive pool of knowledge is now the basis for the new and completely improved Ashampoo WinOptimizer 5. The program is designed to enable both novice and advanced users to cleanse and optimize their Windows system and adapt it to their own needs. The tool feels equally at home optimizing the Windows XP and 2000 operating systems as it does under Windows Vista.

The extremely easy-to-use menus present the individual modules of Ashampoo WinOptimizer 5 and make it possible to measure system performance, deactivate annoying autostart entries, or delete unnecessary files, all with a click of the mouse.

The latest version, WinOptimizer 5, boasts two new modules. They restore mistakenly deleted files with the click of a mouse and save the arrangement of icons on the desktop. And a lot has also been done in the realm of Windows optimization.

New Ashampoo WinOptimizer 5 is fully compatible with Windows Vista in both the 32 and 64 bit versions. This means that you can start maintaining your slick new Vista system right away - it won’t even have a chance to get clogged down with new garbage! With an all-new interface and many new features it gives you an unbeatable package of cleanup tools that will keep your Windows installation lean, mean and running smoothly. Just as dirt and trash accumulate in buildings and factories in the course of time, unnecessary data and “leftover files” gradually collect in all Windows installations as you use them. As this garbage collects it slowly clogs up your system, taking up space and making performance slower and slower. This program knows exactly what kind of dirt to look for, where to find it and how to get rid of it efficiently without damaging anything else.

vLite 1.1.6 final

Windows Vista from Microsoft takes a lot of resources, we all know that. So here is the tool for easy removal of the unwanted components in order to make Vista run faster and to your liking. vLite can also create the bootable ISO and apply the tweaks directly.

This tool doesn´t use any kind of hacking, all files and registry entries are protected as they would be if you install the full version only without the components you select for the removal.

It configures the installation directly, before the installation, meaning you´ll have to remake the ISO and reinstall it. This method is much cleaner, not to mention easier and more logical than doing it after installation on every reinstall.

Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.
